Building
The most visible sign of our transition is the new state-of-the-art hospital building.
The spectacular 3-story atrium in the center of the building spans the entire 150-meter length of the building, bringing a lot of natural light into the heart of the hospital, where most visitors are expected to linger before finding their way to their loved ones.
The most significant changes, however, are in the details one will not easily capture. These changes include: smart architecture to create smooth logistical patient-flows, the flexibility it offers to our medical staff in organizing patient-centered work flows, the six state-of-the-art operating rooms that will turn other hospital in the region envious and will even allow our surgeons to work online with other specialists in the world during operations. The architects based the building on the following design principles: Patient-centered, logistical flows, flexibility, sustainability and proven technology. We use these principles to date.
